Install Google Camera on Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1
Follow the few easy steps to know how to Install Google Camera on Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1.
Yes, after the updates the Asus Camera improves a lot but still, the camera app needs some improvements.
But if you don’t want to wait for the software update from Asus then you can Install Google Camera on your Device.
But for installing Google Camera, you need to enable camera 2 API and usually, it is not easy for a non-rooted device.
Don’t be panic. 🙂 Because today, I’m not going to say that you have to root your android device.
You can easily enable camera 2 API and install Gcam.
So, without further delay, let’s get started.
Steps to Install Google Camera –
1. Settings to do on Android.
#1. Enable Developer Option on your Android device.
To enable the developer option on your Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Tap on the Settings app > System > About Phone > Now tap on Build Number 6 to 7 times to enable the Developer Option.
#2. Enable USB Debugging Option on Your Android.
To enable USB Debugging Option, Tap on Settings app > Developer Option > Now scroll down and enable USB Debugging.
Note: If you are doing some technical work like this in your smartphone for the first time then without following the first step you can’t find developer option in the settings and can’t enable USB debugging option.
So, Please do same as I mention in the Settings to do on Android section.
And if you already enable the developer option then you simply have to enable USB debugging by following the above #2. Enable USB Debugging Option.
Settings to do on your Laptop or PC.
#1. Download Two Files on your PC.
#2. Now Install the software.
Note: Make sure that in which location you are installing the ADB setup.
#3. Now go to the ADB folder and type cmd on the address bar. or Press Shift key and then Right click on the mouse simultaneously in the black space under the ADB folder and click on open Command Prompt.
#4. Type ‘adb devices‘ on the command prompt.
If the phone connected to your PC then a Window popup on your android device.
So, simply tap on OK.
And Now come to the PC.
#5. Now type ‘fastboot devices‘.
#6. Then type ‘adb reboot bootloader‘.
#7. Now type ‘fastboot oem enable_camera_hal3 true‘ to enable the Camera 2 API on your android device.
#8. Lastly, type ‘fastboot reboot‘.
After doing all the above steps, now download Google Camera Application.
Now simply install the camera app.
